Buying Guide for Kitchen and Bathroom Taps May 25th, 2010
When buying taps for your bathroom and/or kitchen there are many factors to take into consideration
The first step is to check the water pressure in your room. Most taps are suitable for use with standard water pressure; however, shower mixer taps require a higher pressure for good performance. If you are not sure about your hot water pressure, contact your local Water board or plumber for advice. If you are planning on replacing your kitchen or bathroom, we recommend choosing your taps at the beginning of an overall kitchen or bathroom as it will be easier to make adjustments necessary to plumbing before rather than after fitting.
It is better to match the size of the tap with the size of the kitchen or bathroom for example; small taps for small basins and larger taps for bigger fixtures.
