HG174 Brilliant Descaler 500mlRemoves Scale From Hot Water Machines
• APPLICATION
On dishwashers, washing machines, coffee percolators, kettles and boilers.
• DIRECTIONS FOR USE
Coffee machines: Dilute 50 ml of HG quick descaler with a litre water and then
carefully pour in. Switch the machine on so that the solution passes through the
machine. Pour the spent solution away carefully. If necessary repeat the treatment
until the water flow is normal. Once the machine has been cleaned of scale, run it
three times with clean water to thoroughly remove any sediment or other residues.
Electric kettles: Dilute 50 ml of HG quick descaler with a litre cold water and
then carefully pour in. Do not switch the kettle on, but leave the product to work for
up to 40 minutes. Pour away the solution carefully. If necessary repeat treatment.
Finally clean the kettle with clean water. Repeat three or four times to remove all
residues.
Washing machines and dishwashers: Carefully pour (110-200ml) HG "quick
descaler" into the detergent container. Select the shortest programme en set the
temperature at 60 C. Halfway through the programme turn off the main
switch and leave for 20 minutes to activate before switching the machine back on to
finish its cycle.
Heating elements (other than electric kettles) could be treated separately.
Cover the element with HG quick descaler with aid of a brush. Leave the product
till work for 5 min. before removing scale with a sponge. Finally rinse well with water.

• PRECAUTIONS
Before use, consult the manual of your machine using this product. Do not
use on not acid resisting surfaces, such as aluminium, zinc or enamel. Do not
ever use this product to clean steam irons.
R34- Causes burns. S1/2- Keep locked up and out of the reach of children.
S26- In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek
medical advice. S27/28- After contact with skin, take off immediately all
contaminated clothing, and wash immediately with plenty of water.
S36/37/39-Wear suitable protective clothing, gloves and eye/face
protection. S45- In case of accident or if you feel unwell, seek medical advice
immediately (show the label where possible). S64- If swallowed, rinse mouth with quick descaler water (only if the person is conscious).
